Koko (Olivia Cheng) is a devoted and talented social worker, despite having problems of her own. In her fieldwork toa remote village, she gets to know FatCat (Kent Cheng), a poverty-stricken,mildly retarded man living with his widowed mother. Despite his situation, Fat Cat is very content with his lot in life. Persistently insisting that she can better his situation, Koko’s well intentioned but misguided attempts to improve Fat Cat's life backfire with tragic results. With two wounded souls, Fat Cat and Koko must look to each other to find the strength they need to cope with their fractured lives.
